Orleans celebrates the 600th anniversary of the birth of Joan of Arc
From 06 january 2012 to 31 october 2012
2012 is "Joan of Arc" year, being the 600th anniversary of her birth. Ever since 1429 Orleans has rarely failed to celebrate her birthday. But the festivities this year are of a different order of magnitude, and started on 6 January, the presumed date of birth of Joan of Arc.
