Olivet pears
The famous pear eau-de-vie is made in Olivet. It’s a delicious nectar with a subtle aroma which warms the throat – and the earsTo acheive this miracle, a cunning two-stage manufacturing process is used. First, a selection of the finest William pears of the year’s harvest is distilled; then the pears are put in bottles in spring when they are just branches. The combination of the two guarantees the production of a refined drink, renowned for the conviviality it produces.
